Primavera
Sometimes called “white mahogany” both for its similarity in grain and working properties, primavera, however, is unrelated to any of the mahoganies. Although it can have ribbony, interlocked grain, it works well and without difficulty.
Primavera is a pale ivory color when freshly milled but tends to darken and redden as it ages. It can have good chatoyance, especially when it is ribbon striped.
